NEW HOTEL IN SALVADOR DE BAHIA OFFERS LUXURIOUS FAMILY-FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE

Mallorca, Florida - 2009-10-30 - Palma de Mallorca, Spain – Oct. 30, 2009 – Offering an exclusive and elegant backdrop for the perfect family vacations, Iberostar Praia do Forte opens this week in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil.

The new property is the second Iberostar property to open in Salvador de Bahia and the third property in Brazil, continuing the Iberostar tradition of providing unique vacation experiences, rooted in superior customer service and quality, in the world’s most popular vacation destinations.

The $87 million all-inclusive Iberostar Praia do Forte Hotel includes 432 superior rooms, 102 junior suites and two presidential suites. Each room at Iberostar Praia do Forte Hotel includes features such as verandas, king or queen size beds, 29-inch LCD televisions with satellite, radio-alarm with CD player, and internet access.

The new property enhances the level of all-inclusive properties in Brazil by offering exceptional surroundings and ambiance, well-appointed accommodations and décor, fine cuisine and highly qualified service professionals.

Opening in 2009, located between the Iberostar Praia do Forte and Iberostar Bahia, the SPA will offer guests genuine Thai relaxation treatments for beauty. The 23,000 square foot spa will also include a hairdresser, boutique, gym, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, eight massage booths and a heated pool.

The Iberostar Praia do Forte Hotel will offer an array of activities, from gymnastics and aerobics to squash and tennis. Lucy’s Mini-Club offers fully-supervised, age-appropriate activities for children ages 4 to 12. Parents can enjoy live music and dance performances each night. Guests of Iberostar Praia do Forte also have free access to the facilities at Iberostar Bahia.

All-inclusive dining options include a main buffet, beach buffet and three specialty restaurants: Bahia, Asian and Gourmet. Additionally, guests enjoy dine around privileges at Iberostar Bahia.
